Pear & Ginger Tonic

Pear & Ginger Tonic

A refreshing autumn mocktail, balancing fruity sweetness with invigorating spice.

Ingredients

  • 10 cl of UCHA Ginger Kombucha

  • 1/2 ripe pear, cut into thin slices

  • 1 slice of lemon

  • 1 small piece of fresh ginger (about 1 cm), grated

  • 1 teaspoon of agave syrup (optional)

  • 1 stick of cinnamon

  • Ice cubes or crushed ice

Steps

  1. In a shaker (or jar), mix the pear slices, grated ginger, lemon juice, and syrup.

  2. Add ice cubes and shake gently.

  3. Pour into a tall glass, then top up with kombucha.

  4. Stir gently.

  5. Garnish with a slice of pear, a lemon wheel, and a cinnamon stick for a cozy effect.

Tips

  • For a spicier version, add a pinch of cinnamon or a star anise to the infusion.

  • Replace the pear with Granny Smith apple for a tangier touch.

  • Gently heat the mixture (without boiling) for a warm, alcohol-free grog version.
